CRACK!!!

Well, we had a very windy day! Tonight, Adam and Micah were in their room listening to Adventures in Odyssey. Dad was laying down with Abby. I was just sitting down somewhere I can't remember. I heard a knock but I thought it was just Abby banging on the wall again. A little later I heard a BANG BANG BANG at the door I ran out to the living room but mom had already got the door. It was our next-door neighbor. I didn't have to ask why he was here because there, laying across our yard and driveway, was a HUGE branch from one of our 2 big maple trees!

Mom made phone calls to people nearby to see if they had a chain saw we could borrow. No luck. I ran to a friend's house to see if they had one. No. Our next-door neighbor had a little electric one which took a while to use but got the job done. A friend of ours is letting us use theirs tomorrow to finish up. Well that was our excitement for the evening! :)

BTW it did not hit anything but a rose bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
