Happy Birthday Micah!

Yesterday was Micah's 11th birthday! A friend of his(Sam)and Micah and my dad and me and my friend Cherie(Her blog is Just Me i have a link to it if you want to check it out)went to Wahooz a little arcade/amusment park thingy. It was so fun! Wahooz has bumper boats,go carts,mini golf,games,and best of all, laser tag! We had unlimeted laser tag passes and went over 10 times.
In case you didn't know laser tag is the best game in the world. You stand in line and then 20 people at a time go into a little room and watch a 60 second video telling you how to play and the rules like no laying down on the floor and no chewing gum. Then you put on a vest with a gun attached to it.When turned on the vest is red or green depending on what team you're on.
On the front of the vest there is a sensor where pleople try to shoot or tag you. There is also a sensor on the back of the vest along with one on each shoulder. Then the referee person spits the players into two teams the red team and the green team. Then you go into a big room with black lights and fog.
In the room there are big poll things that on one half of the room are green and the other half is red. The polls are about three feet arount and seven feet tall. Also there are the team bases, a green arch with a sensor and a red arch with a sensor.you go around this room taging the opposite team's sensors on their vests and trying not to get taged yourself. When you tag someone you get points and the team with the most points and the end wins. You can run out of laser power though. when this happens you vest will start blinking and you have to go back to you base and walk through a stream of light that comes out of it. When you walk through your vest makes a powering up sort of noise. To shoot your laser gun, you press two buttons that are on either side of the gun and pull the trigger.

On the golf course there was a big lizard. We named him Frankie. This is Cherie and I with Frankie.

And then there was the bumper boats. They have little squirt gun on the front so you can spray people ant bump them.

At lunch time we left and went to Primos, then went back to Wahooz to play laser tag like eight more times. Here are the boys at Primos.

Then at six or so we went home and had cup cakes ant Micah opened his presents. It was a fun day for all of us.

Lightsabers

Here are some pictures I took of my dad and Adam playing with toy lightsabers:

Can you see the purple lightsaber in mid air? It kind of looks like it's coming out of dad's leg though!

We are going to (hopefully) have some chicks soon! We are letting one of the hens sit on the eggs to hatch them. She's doing a good job so far she only leaves the nest once a day to eat and drink.

Meet Jellybean!!!

We got a new bunny yesterday! She is all black. I missed having rabbits. Jellybean is so small! It was my mom's idea to name her Jelly bean. Here is a picture of her enjoying fresh grass in the front yard:

Here are the rules to this tag:
In this tag you have to have a book that is closest to you that is at least 100 pages. You have to open the book and go to the 100th page and post the first three sentences. You have to tag at least 3 people but you can tag more!

My book is Holly's Heart Collection 3.
It was Jeff's attempt to bribe his way onto student council. Was it fair to let him get by with lying? Besides, what kind of class presidentwould Jeff make if he based his votes on deceit?

10 Things I've Learned So Far

1. Navy beans soaked in water don't turn into peanuts.
2. When boiling eggs, always make sure there is water in the pot with the eggs (failing to do this may result in minor explosions).
3. Never scrub your chin with a magic eraser, unless you want a chemical burn.
4. Never put salt on your arm and then hold an ice cube onto it.
5. Don't make false tears with water and salt and then put the mixture on your eye even though it does work. You will get tears, trust me. Real ones.
6. When giving firewood to your brother to put into the wagon, HAND it to him, don't toss it! Mom's don't like going to the ER before they have showered and dressed!
7. Don't light toothpicks on fire.
8. Making fake blood with food coloring, corn syrup and water, and then leaving the bottle on it's side on your dresser will most likely upset your mom.
9. Don't shake out a rug inside unless you want to rewash the counters.
And lastly:
10. Heating up restaurant left-overs in the take-home styrofoam container will result in your parents having to buy a new microwave!
